The CSU Ergonomics Program recommends a variety of ergonomic equipment as listed below. Each item shown may be beneficial in minimizing the risk for injury and making a task safer and easier for employees. Although certain equipment is available for trial/loan, not all products listed are available. (Products available for trial are related to office ergonomics – i.e. keyboards, mice). Industrial ergonomics equipment shown (or equipment used outside of the office/computer workstation), is NOT available for trial.

When a product is available for loan, trial is highly recommended prior to purchase. Please email ergo@colostate.edu or call (970) 491-2724 for additional information, to request a product trial or schedule a visit to the ‘ergolab’. You may also complete the request for an Ergolab appointment form to schedule a time to visit the Ergolab.

There is no guarantee a product will reduce or eliminate injury risk. Certain equipment, especially equipment for industrial (non-office) environments may need further discussion with the university ergonomist/ergonomics program manager to help determine feasibility and effectiveness in minimizing injury risk.

CSU may have a contract with certain vendors, however, alternative vendors may be acceptable assuming a contract does not exist and prior approval is granted. The vendor listed may not be a suggested or contracted vendor. Check with your departmental accounting employee and/or the CSU Procurement Office to determine if the vendor listed is approved.
